When you are in California's Central Coast Beso Cocina is a restaurant worth stopping for! Their menu goes beyond the traditional Mexican Faire! Their portions are generous and not overpriced! We had the Enchilada Blanca which was not your average enchilada! It was so good I would definitely order it again! Service was really good especially since we were a party of 11! The only reason I am giving this restaurant four stars instead of five is because we went there for dinner but only because we were wanting to try their Speakeasy 1920! It was closed that night because the bartender called out! 1920 looked very cool with a sexy vibe!

I came with a friend and enjoyed a tasty meal. The service was okay but the food was fantastic and I plan to be back again to order the enchilada blanco again!

Food: Excellent flavor - even 'basics' like rice and beans were perfectly spiced. Service & Atmosphere: It was a busy Saturday evening with a large, noisy party seated in the middle of the restaurant. Service had some missteps but corrected quickly and seemed very concerned about making it right. Definitely want to visit again but may choose a less busy time.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Beso in Nipmo, CA! Every dish we tried was out of this world--definitely a 100 out of 10! Let's start with the corn ribs: smoky, flavorful, and downright addictive. The calamari was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of seasoning, while the lobster bisque was so rich and creamy, I could have licked the bowl clean. And don't even get me started on the surf and turf--tender, juicy, and absolutely to die for. Our waitress Alyssa was incredible, making us feel right at home with her friendly attitude and stellar recommendations. Beso is a must-visit if you're in town--you won't be disappointed! Side note - left a cell phone in the restrooms and the staff had it at the front waiting for us. Not only is the food great but the honesty can't be beat.

First time visiting this place and we were absolutely amazed by how much we enjoyed Beso... we sat at the bar and had lunch & cocktails / staff was friendly and the place was very welcoming and clean Had amazing small plates so we could try lots of different things.. totally amazing and definitely recommend this restaurant.. we will be going back for dinner

Ambiance - a solid 5 stars. It's super cute inside! The natural light from the big windows, plus all of the different lights throughout the restaurant give off such a pleasant vibe. The all black table linens and chairs provide an air of sophistication. Very chic! Drinks - 5 stars. My friend and I were both very happy with our drinks. Service - 4.5 stars. The staff as a whole was very attentive, but our waitress seemed a little nervous. Maybe she was new. Food - 3.5 stars. It was good, but for the price it just didn't have that wow factor unfortunately :(

Menu: Simplistic yet diverse, the one-page menu was a refreshing change. We started with the corn ribs, which were a unique and delicious twist on corn, deep-fried to perfection and served with a flavorful mojito sauce. Main Course: I opted for the chipotle chicken, and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the accompanying rice and beans complemented it perfectly. Tortillas: A nice touch was the warm tortillas served with butter at the beginning, allowing me to create my little taco to enhance the meal. Drinks: The Beso cocktail was refreshing and well-balanced, while the Persea Americana Margarita was a standout with its smoothie-like texture thanks to the avocado.
